The Libyan Interim Government in Al-Baida, has decided to halt the Libyan representative in the United Nations, Ibrahim Dabbashi, government’s spokesperson said on Thursday.

Hatem Al-Arebi said that the decision was made based on a letter by the chief of the Oil National Corporation affiliated to the Interim Government, Naji Al-Maghrabi, the Libyan News Agency reported.

“The letter mentioned events indicate Dabbashi’s actions to hinder activating the National Oil Corporation affiliated to the internationally recognized government” Al-Arebi said.

The corporation in Benghazi tries to collect oil sale money for the benefit of the Interim Government and making new contracts to sell oil and gas but its rival in Tripoli currently holds this right.
