Hannibal Gaddafi’s Lebanese lawyer, Boshra Al-Khalil, accused the Lebanese Judiciary Minister, Ashraf Reefi, of abducting her client as he kept information about “the abduction” and unlawfully refusing Syria’s request to take him back.
Al-Khalil said on TV that Reefi was aware of her client’s abduction; she also accused him of keeping away the official demand of Damascus to restore Hannibal to the Prosecutor General.
Reefi, in a statement, refused the accusations, saying they are Syrian propaganda.
Al-Khalil asserted that her client was tortured and marks are visible on his body, especially hands and legs, due to abduction.
She explained that he was abducted in a small car’s trunk for long hours till smuggled illegally.
