The chief of the House of Representatives (HoR), Ageela Saleh, was excluded from the Italian sanctions list of political parties stumbling peace talks, an Italian diplomatic source told Libya Al-khabar.

Saleh was excluded from an Italian list including over a 100 Libyan military, media, and civil persons are believed, according to UN resolution 2259 hindering the political talks. The source added that Daleh’s exclusion was due to his last support for the Libyan talks.

The political agreement was signed on December 17th in Skhirat.

Italy also demanded the assistance of Arab League and African Union to apply sanctions after the European authorization, the source added. Sanctions include money freeze and travel ban.

The member of the General National Congress (GNC), Abdlqader Hwili, said that Oman is trying to set a meeting between the chiefs of the GNC and the HoR and the Prime Minister, Fayez Al-Sarraj.

It is important to mention that LIBYAPROSPECT knew that Oman leaders advised the two chiefs of the GNC and the HoR to support the Government of National Accord (GNA), as the only solution to end the crisis in Libya.
