The Libyan ministry of local governing is filing a law suit against a news channel, broadcasted from Jordan, after an anchor accused the minister of theft and misusing funds, Akhbar Libya 24 reported.
An anchor at the channel “Libyaschannel” had accused the Libyan minister Mohamed Al-Farouk Al-Mahdy of theft, embezzlement and waste of public money, spokeswoman, Entesar Mohamed said.
“We have never cared of who try to stop our efforts to work and develop. The aim is emphasizing principle of accountancy and the state of law and justice”, Entesar added.
The disputed episode of the program “Mawteny” (My Nation) was aired on December 27th.
