A Libyan oil tanker was inspected by the Italian navy in the regional Libyan water near Al-Bouri field, an engineer onboard said.

The engineer who didn’t want to be named said that a helicopter downed a group of soldiers on “Anwar Libya” ship, who inspected the tanker for 2 hours then let it go.

The source believes that the Italian navy is collecting information about ships and boats that are suspected to be smuggling oil to outside Libya.

The tanker belongs to the sea transportations company.
