Second shipment of medication arrives to Tripoli


Second pharmaceutical shipments and operational materials, contracted by the Medical Supply Device over the past months, arrived to Tripoli

The head of Medical Supply Device, Khaled Ashtewy, said “during the last 48 hours, psychosocial oncology, drugs, blood products and laboratory materials and medicines for the cultivation of drugs kidney operation arrived to the device. Those shipments would be used to plug shortage hospitals suffered from the last months”.

He pointed that other shipments would arrive to the city soon which would create enough strategic stock for months.

The medical device headquarters in Tripoli received, during the past few days, more than 500 thousand doses of pneumonia medication and more than 600 thousand insulin doses and more than 200 thousand doses to the Quintet.
