A cleaning company in Benghazi has resumed its duty in the city after it could end its workers’ sit-in on December 3rd, the company manager said on Sunday.
Aida El-Esawy said that the cleaning campaigns included the city’s Eastern entrance, and areas of Al-Masaken Al-Jahza, Nady Al-Froseya and Jazeeret Al-Jarrat. Campaigns are to be hold till the end of the month, she added.
Benghazi streets have been drowning in garbage since employees of public services companies started sit-in after several unpaid months.
El-Esawy said that the workers received their paychecks for 2 months out of 15 months.
