The Tunisian Prime Minister, Habib Essid, met, Tuesday, with the President of the Government of National Accord, Fayez Al-Sarraj, to discuss bilateral relations, according to the official website of the Tunisian government.

Al-Sarraj said in a statement that the meeting “discussed ways to develop areas of cooperation between the two countries, especially economic and security fields of counter-terrorism as well as a number of issues of common interest.”

Tunisian government said that Al-Sarraj described his meeting with Essid as “very positive”, confirming that the meeting” addressed the statues of Libyan community in Tunisia and the efforts made to overcome the difficulties they face and work to find appropriate solutions to the sick and wounded Libyans in Tunisia”.

Al-Sarraj mentioned that” they emphasized, also, the importance of working to re-open the air route between both countries in particular Sfax towards Tripoli, to facilitate the movement of the Libyans to Tunisia”.
