ISESCO welcomes Shkirat peace agreement

ISESCO appeals its members and the international community to provide support to Libya - Internet

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) called Libyan parties to abide by the reconciliation accord signed lately in Shkirat.

Director General of ISESCO, Abdel Aziz Al-Twejry, said in a statement that “we call all participants to the Libyan dialogue to adhere to the terms of the agreement they signed, to achieve peace and security, provide decent living for their citizens, protect their country from threats of extremist organizations”.

The statement also appealed members of ISESCO and the international community to provide needed support to Libya to get it out of the economic and security crisis.

Libyan parties signed, Thursday, the final peace accord in Shkirat city to end the crisis engulfing the country since 2011.
