Tunisia stops hundreds from storming Ras Ejdair

Tunisian security forces stopped hundreds from storming crossing towards Libya - Internet

Tunisian security forces prevented failed attempt to storm the crossing of Ras Ejdair, led by hundreds of angry protesters.

Tunisian media said that the security forces stopped nearly 300 person from storming the crossing towards Libya, which forced the forces to use tear bombs.

The protests continued in Tunisia for the second day, by youths pf Bin Gerdan border city, in the light of the decision of Libyan customs to impose 2000 Libyan Dinars for every car crosses the crossing.

They demanded the dropping of customs tax, and demanded Tunisian authorities to impose taxes on cars crossing Libya into Tunisia.
