The Foreign Russian Ministry said that any delay in settling the Libyan dispute will strengthen terrorist organizations in Libya.
Deputy Russian Foreign Minister, Gennady Gatilov, has expressed his country’s continuous support for the United Nations special envoy, Martin Kobler, in moving the Libyan-Libyan talks as they are based on inclusiveness and taking in all political and tribal powers and social sectors, foreign ministry statement added on Monday.
Gennady Gatilov, said he did not see any difficulties in the adoption of a draft UN resolution on Libya proposed by Britain in the UN Security Council, in order to support the Libyan agreement after signing it on December 16th.
Rome hosted an international conference on Libya that called on all Libyans to seize fire and sign the UN-mediated political agreement to accelerate formation of the Government of National Accord (GNA).
Representatives of 17 countries and United Nations, African Union, European Union and Arab League have attended the meeting.
