LOPCR urges GNC and HoR to work for talks’ success

LOPCR expresses deep concern over rising number of homeless - Internet

The Libyan Organization for Peace, Care and Relief, LOPCR, has called on the chiefs of both parliamentary bodies in the country to work for the success of the Government of National Accord (GNA) talks for the sake of relieving humanitarian suffer in Libya.

The organization’s statement issued on Monday, asked chief of the House of Representatives, HoR, and the chief of the General National Congress, GNC, to multiply efforts to move the Libyan talks forward, and embrace their national responsibility to take a stance that saves the country from a swirl of conflicts.

LOPCR expressed deep concern over rising number of homeless, worsening economic situation, lack of services, and inaccessible medical care.

The statement noted to the danger of terrorism that threatens Libya, saying that several political powers hasn’t taken the decision yet to accept a settlement and save lives.
