EU decides on humanitarian aids to Libya

The European Union has started setting for sending humanitarian aids toLibya, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, stated.

Mogherini elaborated in a press conference, on Monday that European Union Foreign Ministers have agreed to start preparations for €100.000.000 humanitarian aids the union had earlier decided to send to Libya.

“We hope Libyan parties reach stage of signing a political settlement that enables the EU countries to help Libyan people with humanitarian aids and political support for the Government of National Accord”, Mogherini added.

Mogherini announced the EU’s pledge to support the Government of National Accord, economically and politically, as soon as it is “hopefully soon” announced.
