The Fezzan initiative, launched by members of the House of Representatives, HoR, is to be considered in the political agreement the United Nations envoy to Libya, Martin Kobler, said will be signed on December 16th, HoR member uncovered.
First deputy of the HoR chief, Ismael Bashir, said that the to-be-signed political agreement will be based on the draft modified in Skhirat talks while taking Fezzan initiative into account.
The HoR member, Salem Gnedi, expected announcing the agreement prior to signing. What will be signed is an understanding initiative not the Government of National Accord (GNA), he stated.
Bashir said that first deputy of the HoR chief, Mohamed Shoaib is still authorized to sign, since no other talks committee was elected, while the HoR media advisor, Fathy Bouolweiia, denied saying Shoaib was denied confidence.
The UN special envoy to Libya, Martin Kobler, has notified the Security Council, on Friday, that the political agreement will be signed on December 16th.
