The Libyan Council of Notables (LCN) is holding reconciliation efforts in South Libya.
The council nowadays is in a tour amongst several tribes and sectors of Southern Libya, to discuss rooting mechanisms for co-existence and reconciliation between tribes.
Council chief, Mohamed Al-Mobasher, said that the efforts will be implemented within a well-studied social plan to overcome the danger of the current situation, he told Libya Almostakbal.
The tour comes at the same time of Chad and Niger Tabu leaders’ visit to South Libya.
A reconciliation agreement was signed in November in Qatar between the tribes of Tabu and Tuareg, under Qatari sponsorship, which was hailed by the United Nations and several political powers and international players, as a step closer to an inclusive reconciliation.
