The Organization of Islamic Co-operation (OIC) has welcomed the principles agreement that reached in Tunisia by the delegations of the House of Representatives (HoR)and the General National Congress (GNC) to end the Libyan conflict.
The OIC Secretary General, Iyad Ameen Madani, called for all Libyans parties to adopt the agreement. He expressed in a statement that the agreement is a base for reaching a political solution, starting building constitutional institutions in Libya on the basis of democracy, justice, equality and fighting terrorism.
Madani expressed the organization’s readiness to contribute to the international and regional efforts to end the suffering of Libyans and aid them attain reconciliation and peaceful living within national unity.
The HoR and the GNC delegations have declared a principles agreement to end the political deadlock on Sunday in Tunisia.
