Ray stresses EU's support for Martine Kobler - Internet

The European Union announced its rejection to the initial agreement signed in Tunisia between representatives from the House of Representatives (HoR) in Tobruk and the General National Congress (GNC) in Tripoli.

Spokesperson for the European External Action Office, Catherine Ray, said that “any agreement between rival Libyans should be inclusive, admits the positive role of regional and international organizations” according to Middle East News Agency (MENA).

She stressed EU’s support for the United Nations envoy to Libya, Martine Kobler, and the political agreement emanated from his efforts.

She added “we are looking forward for Rome international conference, next Sunday, as an important meeting in support for the establishment of the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA)”.
