Libyan flights are prevented from landing on Carthage airport

Tunisian authorities decided to prevent Libyan planes from landing in Carthage International Airport in the capital Tunisia, therefore all plans coming from Libya are to land in Sfax.

Aviation authorities sent letters to Libyan air companies, informing them that all flights to Carthage airport are to be transferred to Sfax airport, starting from 5 December to 25 and it could be expanded.

The National Security Council in Tunisia, headed by the president Essebsi, decided to close land borders with Libya for 15 days starting from 29 November, after explosion targeted a presidential guards bus, last week, in the capital Tunisia that killed 12 and wounded 20 others.
