Benghazi Central Medical Center was hit by a shell on Wednesday that landed in one of the center’s dialysis rooms, no human losses were reported.
The chief of media bureau of the center, Khalil Quedar, demanded increasing security measurements and heightening the sand barricade in front of the building.
The head of Nursing Department, Fathy Al-Werfally, noted that the attack is one of many the center was subjected to. Several attacks targeted the dialysis rooms while medical sessions were in progress.
Al-Werfally warned of ignoring such accidents that may lead to disasters for patients and staff someday.
