11 Tunisian workers abducted in Libya


11 Tunisian workers are kidnapped in Libya by armed men to pressure for the release of Libyan prisoner in Tunisia.

The workers were abducted, Sunday night. Kidnappers demanded the release of Libyan arrested in Medneen province, southern Tunisia, he was convicted with two years in prison in drug related case, he is serving his sentence in civilian prison.

The Tunisian journalist, Anis Bin Osman, said that his brother, Haikal Bin Osman, is among the abducted, he works in a restaurant in oil refinery in Al-Zawia city.

The Tunisian Al-Shams radio said that the families of abducted nationals are still waiting for actions from the Tunisian Foreign Ministry to save their relatives.

Tunisia announced the closure of land borders with Libya for two weeks after the attack against the Tunisian Presidential Security bus that killed 13 persons.
