Random shells have hit the main electricity-generating station in North Benghazi, Friday morning, causing partial shutdown of the station’s generators.

Sources explained that the power outage hit Al-kwifeiia area, where the North-Benghazi station is located, after two units broke down because of the attack.

According to sources, no human injuries were reported, while the station is still under attack from unknown sources.

Benghazi and eastern areas may suffer full electricity outage as the station is the main electricity supplier in the area.
