GNC affiliated planes target IS sites in Sirte


An Islamic State group, IS, leader was killed in the city of Sirte after air strikes targeted the group’s sites by the General National Congress, GNC, affiliated forces.

Abu Jalal Al-Maghraby, who was responsible for the group’s media bureau, was killed along with other IS militants in the air strike, said a source in the High Security Committee in Sirte to Eram news.

The source stated that the air strikes targeted ammunition warehouses and military vehicles.

A GNC affiliated joint room of the presidency of the General Staff confirmed that 3 air strikes were raided on the IS sites in Sirte. It confirmed on its Facebook page that 6 militants were killed, including Al-Maghraby.
