The candidate for the presidency of the Government of National Accord, Fayez Al-Sarraj concluded his visit to Morocco, in which he met the foreign and cooperation minister, Salah Mezwar, Tuesday, in Casablanca.
Information Bureau for Al-Sarraj told LIBYAPROSPECT that the meeting focused on support mechanisms for the political agreement which was completed in Moroccan city Skhirat under the auspices of the United Nations.
Moroccan foreign and cooperation minister stressed that “Morocco, under the leadership of King Mohammed V, continues to keep pace with Libya at all levels to raise the political, security, economic and humanitarian challenges faced by the state, to restore normality and play its role in regional and international surroundings”.
From his side, Al-Sarraj praised “serious and tireless efforts of Morocco to resolve the Libyan crisis through its hosting of the political dialogue”.
He expressed the desire of national government to facilitate the accommodation measures of Libyan citizens and ease visas granting restrictions by Morocco. And to widen cooperation between both countries so that Libya can take advantage of the Moroccan expertise in restoring and building the modern Libyan state.
