LIBYAPROSPECT – Egypt
The nominated Prime Minister for the Government of National Accord (GNA), Fayez Al-Sarraj has denied, Saturday, what Tunisian media reports said about his intentions to install an “exile government in Tunisia”.
Al-Sarraj’s media bureau said in a statement, which LIBYAPROSPECT received, that “while I stress the deep relations between Libya and Tunisia, but the news that was published by Al-Shrouk Tunisian newspaper is not correct”.
The statement reminded that the Government of National Accord (GNA) is the sum of the United Nations sponsored national talks, and it will only be what the Libyans want and according to the political agreement.
“I think the newspaper’s sources have let it down and used its fame to pass their rumors aiming at aborting any Libyan efforts to save it from a dark future”, the statement read, “in such occasion we call media to have vigilance and not rely on anonymous sources”.
