Serbia is considering closing its embassy in Tripoli

The Serbian Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucic, said that his country is considering closing its embassy in the capital city, Tripoli, after the abduction of two members of its staff, Sunday.

He added, Tuesday, in news conference that Serbian Foreign ministry is still working for the release of its kidnapped staff in Libya, and for security reasons, he couldn’t uncover more details, according to RIA Novosti press agency.

Former Serbian ambassador to Libya Dusan Semenovich criticized, earlier, the continuation of his country’s diplomatic representation to Tripoli.
