12 Million Dinars allocated for recycling

Al- Thinni’s government announced the allocation of 12 million Libyan dinars for the ministry of local government, as part of the provisions for hygiene support in the general budget for the current year.

The government declared in a resolution, issued on Wednesday, that the purpose is to supply three factories for recycling, to be established in a number of municipalities as a model for addressing the garbage problem across Libya.

According to multiple sources, this approval comes in light of problems suffered by the hygiene sector, due to delayed salaries and workers’ strikes, which lead to the accumulation of garbage from time to time.
